This garage had a fire loss that burned through the roof decking into the shingles in Jonesboro, Arkansas. It is important to each of us to protect our property against theft, rain or other inclement weather. This is a fairly large hole that was caused by the fire. We do it the right way by securing the hole with plywood prior to installing the roof tarp. We take all necessary safety measure to ensure that there is no further intrusion of rain that could then become a safety issue should it collapse into the garage. Following the plywood we cover the roof with a tarp. Tarps will generally provide that temporary repair until the job can be fully repaired.
