Roof Leak

This is an example of a roof leak that was not properly mitigated in the beginning. It would have been possible to remove wet insulation in the attic and dry the drywall and framing had this been properly handled. The result of waiting was visible mold growth. At this point the drywall had to be removed. This also provided us an open cavity so that the framing could be disinfected and dried prior to reconstruction. Mold growth can begin within 72 hours of the loss occurring.
