Water Damage to Pocahontas, Arkansas Building

Back in August on a stormy morning we received a call directly from the building owner about the roof being blown off of his building. The most amazing part of this was that the storm actually occurred in the morning hours but by the time we received the call in the afternoon the roof had already been replaced. Our crews responded quickly to begin water extraction and cleanup. Two suites within this building were affected and although the customer had their own general contractor we were able to assist with demolition to affected drywall and cleanup from blown insulation removal in the wall cavities. Drying equipment was placed within the building and we successfully dried the structure. The drying for this loss ranged from three to six days. As areas were fully completed with demo we would place equipment to begin the drying process. It is not common in most cases to wait until all demo is completed to start drying. Our job is to begin removing moisture from the interior environment immediately. It's important to know that many interior walls did not have insulation. These walls were salvaged and dried in place by removing the base trim and ventilating the wall cavity. We approach every job with salvaging as much as possible. This brings a direct explanation and difference between Repair vs. Replace.
